Pre-functional test
BG 88 Commissioning Responsibilities Framework, by Matt Lowry, published by BSRIA in January 2025, defines a pre-functional test (PFT) as: ‘A site-based procedure which validates that equipment and systems are connected and operational and confirms their state of readiness for functional performance testing.’
